Lori McDonald and nature

Lori McDonald, Game Designer

Lori McDonald, co-owner of Turn 4 Turn Llc, a small design studio in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, designed Earth Matters. A founder of Soldier Hollow Charter School, a former art teacher and aspiring poet, she loves mountain sports and working with kids.

“I fell in love with the wild world at a young age and have had the privilege of climbing mountains and skiing powder snow. These experiences in wild places are my lifeline.

With so many global problems calling for action, Earth Matters and my work in education are my humble attempts at paying my dues. Being a consumer has never meshed with my values. Everything is connected. I appreciate the chance to contribute to the conversation with the belief that we work to protect what we value”.

Rohan and Yuliia, game illustrators

Rohan & Yuliia, Illustrators

Rohan Dahotre is an illustrator based in Pune, India. He is a nature and wildlife enthusiast, a keen observer who loves exploring the wilderness. He loves illustrating animals, birds, and all things wild, contributing to the cause of wildlife awareness, conservation, and welfare.

"Nature has always inspired me. But when it specifically comes to wildlife, that is what I like the most. There is so much variety, different characteristics, behavior, shapes, forms, patterns, and textures. In all, there is so much to observe and learn."

His artistic style is versatile, experimental, colorful, and playful. He is deeply committed to raising awareness which appears throughout his body of work. These themes are in his art practice and for clients he worked for, such as BBC, WWF, Google, Starbucks, and others. Along with a few forest departments, editorial magazines, and publishing houses.

Yuliia Bahniuk is a freelance illustrator and eco enthusiast from Ukraine living in India. At one stage of her illustrator career, she realized that she wanted her art to be useful, so that's how she decided to spread awareness about the environment through illustration so that more and more people will become aware of the problems our planet faces and solutions to them, to show the beauty that lies in nature through art, the importance of species and so on. She believes that nobody wants our planet to be destroyed; the problem is that most people don't have the knowledge which could help to understand how everything is connected in nature and how some of our everyday doings can influence the well-being of our planet.
